The Jissen Women’s Educational Institute’s Sakura Residence Hall was built to provide a place for our overseas exchange students to live, to support their college life, and to promote and strengthen international exchange. It is located about 100 m from the entrance to the Jissen Hino campus.
Sakura Residence Hall was opened in 2006. It consists of four units: each unit has several single rooms and a communal space. Each unit has a resident Japanese Jissen student who acts as unit leader (UL) and lives together with the overseas exchange students. Her job is to give advice and assistance to help the overseas exchange students become accustomed to the life and customs in Japan.
